Scroll of WISDOM.
A post with general information regarding Gabrielle, her history and her talents. Spoilers on her canon ahead, proceed with caution.

GABRIELLE, THE BATTLING BARD OF POTEDEIA.
NAME: Gabrielle.
TITLES: Bard of Potedeia, Amazon Princess (formerly), Amazon Queen (current), Battling Bard, Cindy of Thrace (Fake Identity), The Marquessa, Bell (She puts the 'DING!' in Wedding), Bruna, Xena's little Bitch, many more to list.
AGE: Late 20s. It is never clearly stated in the show, this is a headcanon estimate.
HEIGHT: 5'4"
HAIR COLOR: Blonde (natural).
EYE COLOR: Blue (The actress' eyes are green actually, but since they look bluer in the show, it's easier to say Blue).
ETHNICITY: Greek.
TATTOOS: One, a dragon tattoo on her back (Detailed here). Two, twin Koi (carps) on the side of her left calf.
PIERCING: Ears pierced.
CANON: Xena: Warrior Princess (Main), Hercules: The Legendary Journeys (Recurring).
CANON POINT: Season 6/Post-Canon (Flexible).
CANON ERA: Ancient times, the era of Gods and legends. However, time is stretchy and inconsistent. This is speculative but post-canon is somewhere around 14 CE or so.

FACETWINS: Allowed and acknowledged. Gabrielle has seen dopplegangers of Xena before and of herself in the past, so she's no stranger to this.
CLONES: Well, it's kinda funny, so I'd allow it for now LOL.

CHILDREN: Hope(Daughter of Dahak and Gabrielle).

SUBTEXT & SOULMATES: If you're curious about how mun handles the Subtext here is a separate post. TLDR; this girl gay for Xena (actually Bisexual, but y'know). And an extra bit is how mun views soulmates and how that pertains to Joxer, which goes here. TL;DR on that one is Joxer is a loyal friend destined to met Xena and Gabrielle, but remain as a FRIEND.
HISTORY: Wikia here, considering it's such a long and extensive history.
PERSONALITY: A good way to sum up Gabrielle's personality is that she's good. A good bard, a good warrior, a good woman,(Not a good mother to her first child, but that's an entirely different thing) and a good friend. Her spunky attitude at the beginning of her road and her good heart is what drove Xena to keep her alongside her -- her good heart is what's kept Xena from straying too far from her path to goodness. In a way, this side of Gabrielle has been Xena's mentor. In addition to this, Gabrielle is a brave young woman and quite selfless, jumping head in to make sure she saves as much people as possible, even if these people turn against her in the future. She trusts people quite easily and this leads to the problem where she's too trusting and sometimes to the wrong people.
One would say her sense of naivety is also part of her personality, but she's quickly grown to see more and more of the world, to understand Xena's way of looking at things. She still retains some sense of purity (Xena would say, at least) and she still retains something quintessentially Gabrielle about her, despite growing and hardening constantly. By the end, she is quite the successor to Xena. She's compassionate, brave, strong, had the wits and the intelligence, can command a group of people and rally them up, can balance between her darker side (which she definitely struggles coming in terms with) and her lighter side. In one way, she's become a full woman. A woman who constantly chooses her own path and rewrites her destiny.
PHYSICAL INFORMATION: She's a strong, healthy young lady for sure. She's built like a rock (I mean, she's got guns) from all the adventures she's had and all the training she gets practically. She walks and travels a lot, so she's definitely built to withstand that and has become accustomed to it. Gabrielle can take a beating, a throw, an arrow(to the chest, not the knee), poisoned, getting dragged by a horse, etc. She's gotten stronger and continues to get stronger, if not more resillient, I suppose. I would reckon that some of the previous events have left scars in her body, though in the show it's never outwardly shown or mentioned, but realistically there's gotta be at least one or two.
Her short stature (compared to Xena because she's a little below average if anything) makes her easier to move around, a little more agile, but she packs a punch either way. If someone is taller and stronger than her they absolutely can carry her, but that doesn't mean she won't fight out of it. Speaking of wiggling out of it, she can handle some acrobacies but cannot do all the flips and stuff Xena does (well, until later she kind of picks up a few moves).
PSYCHOLOGICAL INFORMATION: Listen, don't mean to get super informal in this post but this girl has been through the wringer as much as Xena, not on the same wavelenth but at the same capacity. She's got shit going on, but it only speaks of her mental fortitude and strength. She went from an innocent farm girl tagging along to seeing war happen before her eyes, endless fighting and killing, having her husband murdered, a demonic entity giving her a demonic child, having to kill the child, having to sacrifice herself in the process to save her companion(lover) and still processing a lot of Xena's past. Let's not forget she also wakes up 25 years later to see old friends perish before her, her parents beheaded while she was gone, her niece kidnapped and a slave, commanding a war that they (her and the amazons) almost lose and, unfortunately, seeing her lover dead and beheaded as well. So many things she's still coming in terms with, namely the loss of her daughter and the never ending struggle of balance between good and evil. She's written a lot of her adventures with Xena in her scrolls and I figured it's her primary way of sorting out herself, giving meaning to any suffering or situation. Everything has a lesson in her eyes and she learns from each of these tragedies, either to avoid them, to make the most of them, or to stop them.
She's got her ebbs and flows naturally, but her strong resolve has gotten her out of the gutter many times and Xena has always been strong emotional support for the girl. I don't usually let the whole "Mind Reading" thing happen, but the rare occasion I will let it happen, be prepared to see a LOT.
WEAPONS: She has quite the knowledge on how to use a multitude of weapon by the end of the show. However, her preferred weapon is the Sais and, post-canon, the chakram which she has at her disposal.
SKILLS & ABILLITIES (As Per Canon):
• Gift of the Silver Tongue: As a bard, she loves stories, she loves telling them and writing about them. Her words could move the mountains and sway the steel heart. It's worked several times. It has definitely swayed an angry mob hellbent to kill Xena, quite a couple of times, too. She's persuasive, compassionate and witty.
• Cooking: Out of the trio (Joxer, Xena and herself), she's without a doubt the best cook. She's most likely to have learned such back home. As a farm girl, she must've picked up the basics, taught to her by her mother. On the road, she must've gotten way wiser and picked up a few tips, tricks and recipes from the villages and places she's visited.
• Fighting: I mean, if you tag along with the Warrior Princess you're bound to pick up a few things. This makes her quite the dangerous gal, however. After being taught by the Amazons, she learns from Xena herself. Without weapons however, things get interesting. She seems to have more abilities with long range weaponry (Broom, Spears, Staff, subsequently the sword) and it is shown later on that she becomes quite skilled in hand-to-hand combat. She's also shown to be quite resourceful if there's no weapons around, anything that can make distance and cause some damage can be used, and she's known to do such. As per canon change: she knows how to use a sword, the sais and a Katana. She seems to pick up weapons quite fast, but her Sais are still her choice of weapon. She uses them passively by hitting with the handle as she punches but when she needs them to be lethal she uses them upright. Another thing is that her kicks are fast, precise and strong -- this combined with the Sais make for a concise style combining passive and aggressive natures befitting of the Battling Bard.
• Pick-pocket/Stealing/Stealth: She's known to sneak in, infiltrate and has a knack for sleight of hands. It is shown quite a bit, even managed to steal a ring from the King Of Thieves himself, Autolycus.
• Endurance: Due to all the travels, all the trekking and all the beatings she take, one can safely assume she's got quite the endurance like Xena. Is most likely to fight for her life until she's run out of breath, options and strength.
• Keen hearing/sight: By the end of the show, Xena teaches her the technique of hearing 'beyond.' Basically, she can tune in enough to hear what's behind the sound, able to deduce if an army is coming close by, able to sense who is near AND their simplest movements. She's also got a keen sight to read tracks (for example, if it was a big wagon or a smaller one, if the wagon was heavy or light), which she learns early on from Xena. Her ability to be able to piece together if a fight occurred by looking at the footsteps and such is also seen even though she doesn't use it often.
• Reflexes And Aim: She's got quite a remarkable reflex at times, not nearly as sharp as Xena's but getting there. She's seen throwing her sais directly against another projectile and deflecting them. With the chakram, when she uses it, she hits her target and catches the Chakram perfectlly, meaning she's honed her skills quite well. She doesn't use a bow and arrow often, but she seems to fair well enough to catch food. Anyways, conclusion, her aim is quite good and her reflexes are sharp.
• The Pinch: Learned from Xena. By the end of the show, Gabrielle learns how to do the pinch. In the past, she was able to take the pinch off, and now she learned how to put it on. This is an ability that she rarely uses as it is so dangerous and almost cruel, unless the situation really requires it.
MAGICAL ABILITIES: While she's not an stranger to magic and other supernatural phenomena, she has no special powers of her own.
MODERN AU PLOT: Since the canon point I'm in is S6 and post-canon, I still have yet to come up with a bullshit explanation to how Gabrielle is yanked to modern times. But the thing is this, here is how I want it to be. She's THE Gabrielle of Potedeia, she holds her memories (traumas) and everything, her skills and her customs. Just put in a modern setting. She's helped by UNNAMED ROOMMATE, who is the only one that knows her secret and has given an adjusting (and frankly confused, but fascinated) Gabrielle a place to stay. Now, Gabrielle lives her life in these modern times, wacky stuff sure to ensue.
